Winter Break Camp Week Two: Monday-Thursday, Dec. 28-31
Cost: $55.25 per week, per child for city residents; $82.50 per week, per child for non-residents.
Registration for all camps is open through this link. More information is available on this City of Gainesville webpage or by calling 352-334-5067.
An interesting stat that should be collected is the ratio of parents who have chosen to keep their children at home during the COVID pandemic but choose to send their children to the camp program as opposed to those who do not.
That would probably be a good indicator of why the education disparity exists in Alachua county and Gainesville.
