Press release from City of Gainesville
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Tropical Storm Helene is expected to quickly move northward once it enters the Gulf of Mexico and then gain hurricane strength tomorrow.

- Sign up for email, phone, and text notifications at www.alertgnv.org.
- Refill needed prescriptions. All health insurers, managed care organizations, and other health entities must comply with the state statute which allows for early prescription refills as the Governor issued an executive order Monday declaring a state of emergency.

Watch out for your insurance company non renewing your insurance policy.
Make sure your agent is approachable.
Not some lazy person just selling home insurance policies.
Nationwide non renewed ours because they flew a drone over our house without notice annd claimed debris in the yard. We cleaned it up but they persisted. And our agent sat out and never helped.
We had to scramble to find another insurance company.
Stay away from Nationwide.
