  • Wonder if any of those who’ve been guilted are willing to give their properties back to those it was taken from yet?

You know, those same people who want to make everyone else feel guilty about things that happened 40 – 250 years ago.

    • Just tell us you feel cheated that you didn’t get to personally take part in those “things” that happened 40 – 250 years ago (back when America was “great” the first time?) and leave at that, champ.

      • I’ll tell you you’re an idiot, but you’ve probably been told that before. Someone has obviously made you feel bad as well for something you likely had no role in. Tell us, have you offered your land, (if you own any), back to those affected? If not, you as big a hypocrite as others. Leave it at that and accept it as it is.

By the way, America has always been great; that’s why people are coming and not leaving. Even those people you’re referring to aren’t running to the airports and ports to escape.

        • Do you think that artwork stolen by the Nazis in World War II should be returned to the descendants of those it was stolen from? Or is that also something to “accept as it is”?

          I don’t own land.

          • Spoils of war.

That explains things…your opinion, and my opinion of you.

  • Christopher Columbus is much more worthy of celebration. He introduced Europe, with all of its amazing contributions to the world, to the Americas and the Caribbean. He brought the truth of the gospel to people who worshipped the creation rather than the Creator. He brought justice to protect the peaceful natives from the Caribs who were cannibals and sodomized the peaceful natives. It’s a shame our city is not honoring the amazing things the Admiral of the Ocean Sea accomplished.

    • Cristobal Colon was an Italian Jewish merchant who never even landed on North American soil. The Spanish and Catholic Christopher Columbus that was taught to all of us is a complete Jesuit myth.

    • You are right…the Timucuan did practice ritualistic child sacrifice on alters for their gods. The most well known Timucuan alter is the one on Jekyll Island, Georgia exactly where the Federal Reserve was created during a secret meeting in 1910. Literally on top of the actual alter. I call it Babylonian Money Black Magic but normies call it a conspiracy theory…

    • But commies hate true progress. They’re regressives in deeds, if not words. 🤡👹💩

    • So “the truth of the gospel” was that native peoples should be tortured and maimed and forced into slave labor? Do some research, clown, instead of just accepting the narrative you’ve been spoon fed: Columbus was a monster — and was reproached for his cruelties IN HIS OWN TIME.

  • Gainesville should donate Citizens Field to the indigenous for a cultural heritage site.

    • Good idea.. And the city commissioners should donate their homes too.

  • Wow a whole hour to honor and respect our indigenous people for their contributions. We spent well over a month celebrating Juneteenth. Someone please call the Equity Director.

    • They didn’t contribute to this country, this country was built by slaves for 7 trillion in free labor. If it was not for those Juneteenth people this country would be poor, lol.
      The ignorance is amazing.

  • Does that include human and child sacrifices? It does dovetail nicely with today’s commies.

  • If the bozos ruining the city of Gainesville want an “equitable” culture, when are they going to honor the largest culture here, i.e. Christianity? You know, as in a Christmas parade, not just holiday nonsense. BTW, I wonder if Lord Ward is aware that the word holiday is a spelling variance of Holy Day?

    • I also doubt that he knows the word ‘Handicap’ is a variance of ‘cap in hand’ as to beg for coins (and folding money)….and the GCC qualifies as handicapped when they attempt to get their cash-cow GRU back in their control….

  • Not to get off topic but HAPPY CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS DAY y’all!!! 🙂

  • Bad news, liberals: the Pótano are just evil “colonizers”–they moved into land already occupied by the earlier Cades Pond culture and replaced them. The Cades Pond culture replaced the Late Archaic peoples before them, of course, and so on and so forth.

They also fought and seized land from the northern Utina, until the Spanish sided with the Utina and pushed the Pótano back.

Guess the Pótano will have to celebrate Columbus Day like the rest of us.
