Press release from Kat for Congress
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Today, Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL-03), announced her Second Amendment Coalition for this election cycle, backed by a remarkable group of community members and Second Amendment advocates in North Central Florida.
Cammack’s Second Amendment Coalition is the first coalition to be announced before this November’s election, with many others planned for later this summer.
“I am excited to announce the 2022 Second Amendment Coalition and the group of community leaders that make up this distinguished collection of gun rights advocates,” said Cammack. “During my time in Congress, I have worked hard to champion Americans’ constitutional rights to keep and bear arms, and I’m grateful for the support of folks in Florida’s Third who will stand by me in this fight.”
The 2022 Second Amendment Coalition includes members Danny Stefanelli, Marty Wynkoop, Bill Elrod, Mike Weeks, Paul Norfleet, Jack Pickett, Tony McKnight, Glenn Jones, Michelle Pickett, Mike Elfenbein, Ed Newmans, Pedro Parejo, Sherrie McKnight, Patty Galleyann, David Bello, Jamie Nesmith, Marcus Mitchell, Paul Byrd, David Tillman, and Al Hammond.
The coalition joins other endorsements Cammack has received so far this year, including President Donald Trump and Republican state senators, state representatives, and sheriffs in Florida’s Third Congressional District.
Representative Cammack announced her bid for re-election in April to represent Florida’s newly-drawn Third Congressional District, which includes Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Marion, Suwannee, and Union Counties. Cammack has also earned the support of the Republican state senators and representatives serving the constituents of Florida’s Third Congressional District.
