Congresswoman Kat Cammack Letter To Congressional Leaders On National Guard Troops
Press release from Congresswoman Kat Cammack
Last night, I was outraged to hear that several units of the National Guard were asked to leave the Capitol Building. They were moved to the underground parking garages at the Capitol Complex after spending several weeks protecting our Nation’s Capitol after the tumultuous events of January 6th.
This action is no way to treat the brave men and women of the National Guard who have dutifully served our country. I sent a letter to congressional leaders voicing my disdain for last night’s events and encouraging Congress to hold those responsible for this situation accountable.
You can view the full text of my letter to Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Schumer below.
We need to see the details in the letter of request and response from National Guard commander to make better sense of the complaint.
Yes we do and they should be called home to their states ASAP. That should have not even occurred in the first place…in my opinion. What administration was in control following the swearing in? Who then became control of the Capitol Police?
No matter what, it will be blamed on the previous administration.
It’s time for her to “$h!t or get off the pot.” How many letters does this make now that she’s written?
Time to get to work.
