Congresswoman Kat Cammack shatters fundraising records with $1 million haul at Mar-a-Lago

Press release from Kat for Congress

PALM BEACH, Fla. — Congresswoman Kat Cammack (R-FL-03) shattered fundraising records Thursday night, raising more than $1 million at a packed Mar-a-Lago fundraiser. The event drew roughly 100 guests, including House Majority Whip Tom Emmer and Florida Republican gubernatorial candidate Congressman Byron Donalds, underscoring Cammack’s growing national profile and political momentum.

“Last Thursday’s event was more than a fundraising milestone, it was a statement,” said Jessica Norfleet, Finance Director for Congresswoman Cammack. “Raising over one million dollars in a single night reflects the confidence donors have in Representative Kat Cammack’s leadership, her record of results, and her unwavering commitment to serving Floridians.

“As a sitting Member of Congress, Kat continues to show she’s not just prepared to fight for her constituents — she’s already delivering. This historic show of support sends a clear message: her continued momentum is real, her coalitions of donors in Florida and across the nation are strong, and she’s building the kind of infrastructure and leadership foundation that not only endures but expands for whatever the future might hold.”

Cammack echoed that sentiment, emphasizing that the support reflects a growing movement determined to challenge Washington’s failed status quo and deliver results for the American people.

“The swamp survives on complacency, and tonight proves we are done playing defense,” Cammack said. “We are here to disrupt the status quo, drain the bureaucracy of its power, and take this country back for the American people, and we are just getting started.”

Cammack emphasized that the fight underway in Washington is about protecting future generations and rejecting the managed decline pushed by entrenched interests.

“When it comes down to it, the fight that Byron, myself, and so many of our colleagues are in isn’t for us,” Cammack said. “It’s for your children and your grandchildren. What has happened to our nation and their future is fundamentally unfair, and we are not going to accept it.”

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer praised Cammack’s resolve and dismissed defeatist narratives surrounding the midterms.

“Kat Cammack is a fighter. She doesn’t back down, and she makes real sacrifices to do this job,” Emmer said. “We’ve had enough of the handwringers and the defeatist class. The other side is still on the wrong side of every 80–20 issue. They don’t have a leader, and they don’t have a message, but Kat does.”

Congressman Byron Donalds highlighted Cammack’s effectiveness and hands-on leadership in Congress.

“In a town where too many people want to tweet instead of govern, Kat Cammack lives in reality and gets the job done,” Donalds said. “When it was time to secure the border, protect Florida, and stop Joe Biden’s agenda, Kat Cammack was in the room doing the work for the people of Florida.”

As co-chair of the first Republican Women’s Caucus, Cammack called out the issues that matter to families and independent women voters.

“For decades, independent women have been talked to about just one issue: abortion,” Cammack said. “But women care about far more than that. Strong borders, fiscal responsibility, a strong military, and affordability — these issues matter every single day.”

  • Yeah, she can’t raise money in her own district. She has to go out of town to suck up to special interests. And this report isn’t a news article it’s a PR item.

  • Sounds very swampy to me. Kat only cares about Kat.

Mar-a-Lago fundraising fees have drawn attention due to their scale and the financial benefits to Donald Trump’s properties. The club has hosted numerous high-dollar political fundraisers, with events..
Membership fees at Mar-a-Lago have significantly increased, with the initiation fee rising to $1 million starting in October 2024—up from $700,000—due to limited availability and high demand. Members also pay around $20,000 annually in dues.
Event and venue charges have also been substantial. Trump’s campaign and related political groups have paid Mar-a-Lago for venue rentals and catering. For example:
The Patriot Legal Defense Fund paid $18,136 for a “banquet hall” in November 2023.
Other political events, including those supporting allies like Rudy Giuliani, have been held at Mar-a-Lago and Trump’s other properties, further funneling campaign-linked funds into his businesses.

      • Your Jewish mother, you did say that no?, must be disappointed in you repeating that shameful trope.

          • Soros truth stings. It is funny how your liberals unicorns thought Trump was going to prison and now is your President and will be for three more years. After that it will be President Vance for 8 years.

          • Dude, your president has a 61% unfavorable rating in the latest polls, and your party has won the popular vote twice since 1988 (9 elections), and those by the smallest margins, including 2024. I wouldn’t be counting on being lucky, or getting the SC to make the call forever if I were you.

          • Those ratings will disappear shortly with the rise of the US dollar, driving the cost of imports down to nothing again, and the profits from our exports.

      • Never hear of Elon Musk? Soros isn’t in the top 10, 9 of which gave to Republicans. And you thought the GOP was for little people like you and me? Fool. Why do you think Trump was surrounded by billionaires at his formal inaugeration? How do you think he has personally made $1.4 billion in the one year since then?

        Top Individual Donors (2024 Cycle)

        1. Elon Musk ($291.5 million): Tech mogul, primarily backing Republican candidates and his America PAC.
        2. Timothy Mellon ($197 million): Banking heir, a top donor to Donald Trump’s Super PAC and Robert F. Kennedy Jr..
        3. Miriam Adelson ($148.3 million): Casino magnate, focused on Republican candidates.
        4. Richard & Elizabeth Uihlein ($143.5 million): Shipping magnates (Uline), major donors to conservative Super PACs.
        5. Kenneth Griffin ($108.4 million): Citadel CEO, supporting Republican candidates.
        6. Jeffrey & Janine Yass ($101.1 million): Susquehanna International Group, supporting conservative candidates.
        7. Paul Singer ($66.8 million): Elliott Management, major Republican supporter.
        8. Michael Bloomberg ($64.3 million): Founder of Bloomberg L.P., the largest individual donor to Democratic causes.
        9. Dustin Moskovitz ($50.7 million): Facebook co-founder, backing Democratic candidates.
        10. Marc Andreessen ($42.4 million): Andreessen Horowitz, focused on pro-crypto groups. (Republicans)

        • To win election any politician needs donors. We can trade jabs at different politicians all day. You are so triggered by the word “TRUMP” it is sad. What’s next word going to be “ICE , Vance, Rubio?”

          • So, dropping the Soros nonsense Bear?

Your supposed hero of the working class reds is totally owned by billionaires, which he has now become since coming into office again. He doesn’t give a F about you, or really anybody but himself. You understand I hope that he was the king of not paying small time subs in his business and yet guys in pick-ups – except me – have Trump stickers like he’s their guy. Maybe so. They aren’t his guys.

  • A friend of mine considered a run for Congress. I discouraged her. She asked why and I suggested that being a congresswoman (or Congressman) isn’t about “governing” it’s about fundraising. The rule of thumb, I’m told, is that to be “successful” and to have any chance of getting re-elected every two years, they must raise $3,000 — EVERY DAY, to as much as $10,000 a day for competitive seats. New members of Congress are advised to spend a minimum of 30-hours a week fundraising! 30-hours! A 2016 60-minutes episode highlighted that party leadership often encourages new members to spend up to 4–6 hours a day making calls from “call suites” near the Capitol. The MEDIAN raised by a house member in 2024 was $2.1 million. It’s worse in the Senate: Senators running for reelection in 2024 raised an average of $11.1m that’s $15,300/day. That’s not “governing,” that’s running a campaign to become a profession fundraiser. And we wonder why our system of government is intractably broken…

  • Kat’s specialty is getting on Fox News and doing nothing for her constituents that doesn’t involve photo ops with people in uniforms. “Fighting Biden” – yeah, that would be the $8.8 billion sent to Florida under him that DeSantis hands out in ceremonies like he did it. Uncle Tom Byron? “Hey, we don’t need that money and no stinkin’ black history anymore either!”

“Key federal funding highlights for Florida by administration:

    – Biden Administration: More than $112 million for 10 airports and $8.8 billion in American Rescue Plan funds for state/local recovery, with over half aimed at capital projects.

    – Trump Administration (2025/2026): Florida accepted $608 million for immigration enforcement, while Governor DeSantis returned $878 million in other federal funds, primarily in early 2025.

    – Prior Administrations: The Trump administration previously agreed to $1.5 billion in 2017 for hospitals. “

    • Your opening Statement proves that your thinking which I assume is the common thread of the Democratic mind is racist. Really “Uncle Tom?” I have never heard DeSantis say that about Black History. How many other states received money for immigration enforcement and that includes blue states? How much did Obama give out to rid the Country of illegal trespassers? And maybe Biden should have spent more money on Airports, air traffic control that he and Pothooe Pete spent on renaming bridges and roads.

      • Plus let’s not get started on states using federal money fraudulently. ie Tampon Tim funding Somalian fake daycare and terrorists. You know the state that Petey said didn’t have a border.

  • Despite repeated efforts as one of her constituents, Kat Commack has NEVER directly and personally responded to any of my communications to her.
