County seeks community input on farmers markets
Press release from Alachua County
ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Alachua County is inviting residents, farmers, vendors, and market supporters to share their thoughts on the role of farmers markets in the community. A brief survey is now open to help guide future initiatives that support farmers, growers, food entrepreneurs, and small businesses.

The survey, which takes about five minutes to complete, is available for:
In addition to the survey, Alachua County Tourism and Economic Development staff will visit 10 farmers markets across the county from September through November to gather in-person feedback.

FYI: The survey is not anonymous. It asks for your full name.
Instead of talking to people who are already at a farmers market, how about canvasing the people you see walking around the neighborhoods within a mile of the market who chose not to visit one?
