ARCHER, Fla. – Recently, Cox sponsored a special holiday food distribution in partnership with Bread of the Mighty, a branch of Feeding Northeast Florida, to support families in need in Archer. At the event, both Cox and the City of Archer announced their ongoing commitment to hunger relief by sponsoring monthly food distributions throughout 2024.

“We cannot do what we do without help, and we are grateful for the partnership of organizations like Cox and the City of Archer,” said Patrick Dodds, CEO of Bread of the Mighty. “Food is an essential part of the human experience, and we know the need is especially great this time of year. Knowing we can continue these distributions in this community throughout 2024 because of the generosity of Cox is truly a gift.”

“It’s always a good day in the office when this is your office,” said Aimee Pfannenstiel, Central Florida market vice president for Cox. “Being here today, surrounded by my local Cox team and our partners at Bread of the Mighty and the City of Archer, really showcases the power of public-private partnership. We’re not just your broadband service provider, we’re your neighbor, and we’re so glad to be here to help address the digital divide and food insecurity.”

Bread of the Mighty mobile food distributions will take place the second and fourth Tuesday of each month throughout 2024 as a result of these sponsorships. Exact times and locations for the distributions will be communicated by both Bread of the Mighty and the City of Archer on their respective websites and events calendars.

This summer, Cox expanded its services to Archer, providing more than 400 residences with access to its high-speed, fiber network.
