Cuscowilla Nature and Retreat Center pool opening on weekends

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – The Cuscowilla Nature and Retreat Center (210 S.E. 134th Avenue, Micanopy) will open the pool to the public beginning Saturday, May 27, 2023. The pool hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through Labor Day weekend.
Alachua County residents can benefit from the membership pricing of $20 for the entire season. In addition, day passes are available to the pool for $5. Patrons are encouraged to purchase both passes online in advance (users must first create an account).
The pool is also available for rent on the weekends during off hours for parties or events.
My parents sent me to this camp in 1980’s when it was known as YMCA Camp McConnell. Two weeks in those dorms was a blast. Lots of activities including target shooting!
Will they have to drain the pool after special event rentals? Make sure the contracts have that fine print just in case.
