Dr. Xavier J. Monroe qualifies for Florida House District 21 ballot through grassroots petition campaign

Press release from Xavier J. Monroe for Florida State House District 21
ALACHUA, Fla. – Dr. Xavier J. Monroe has officially qualified for the Florida House District 21 ballot after submitting 965 verified voter petitions, exceeding the 897 signatures required under Florida law.
Monroe is the first, and currently the only, candidate in the race to qualify by petition instead of paying the state filing fee.
Qualifying by petition requires campaigns to organize supporters, collect signatures directly from voters, and submit them to local Supervisors of Elections for verification. The process is widely viewed as an early test of a campaign’s organization and grassroots strength. As Florida Politics recently noted, petition qualifying “takes months” and demonstrates a campaign’s “infrastructure and grassroots reach before casting a single vote.”
“We chose the petition route because this campaign is about people first,” Monroe said. “It gave us the opportunity to meet voters face-to-face, listen to their concerns, and build a true grassroots campaign from the ground up.”
Monroe thanked supporters, volunteers, family members, and community advocates who helped the campaign reach the milestone.
“This effort showed that people are ready for leadership focused on healthcare, affordability, educational opportunity, environmental stewardship, and smart growth,” Monroe said. “The conversations we had across the district made clear that families want practical solutions and leaders who stay connected to the community.”
A former public school teacher and current Science and Technology Policy Fellow, Monroe is running on a platform focused on lowering costs for working families, strengthening public schools, expanding access to healthcare, protecting Florida’s natural resources, and supporting workforce and small-business growth.
The campaign will continue voter outreach efforts throughout House District 21 in the coming months.

1)) The only way you know what party he’s with is by reading the political disclaimer in his ad.
2)) Doctor of what and where did he get his degree?
3)) Lotta word salad but no details on what he would do.
All of the candidates except one have skeptical backgrounds INMO.
Another liberal to join all the others who do nothing but want to get rich. Choking the people they want to serve. All the Candidates answered what they thought about the GRU Authority and HB451 and all that answered could not grasp the fact when the City of Gainesville voted on getting the control of GRU back they failed to realize that more than half of those that have GRU Utilities were left of because they live outside the City limits. Not one Conservative on the ballot.
I see Democrats are hard up for cash ever since the crackdown on government NGO fraud and money laundering of taxpayer dollars.
This is the second article in a week mentioning that some broke-ass Democrat skipped out on paying their fair share of election costs by just having their squad of ballot box stuffers round up signatures from cemeteries, prisons, and nursing homes.
