Evacuations ordered in Eryn’s Garden for SR 121 fire, SR 121 closed in the area

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – All evacuations for this fire have been lifted. State Road 121 is closed between U.S. Hwy 441 and County Road 231 until further notice.
As of 8:30 p.m., the fire in the 8300 block of State Road 121 is estimated at 24 acres, and it is 60% contained.
Law enforcement has been asked to evacuate the Eryn’s Garden subdivision, and SR 121 has been closed.
