ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – FDOT has announced the following road and lane closures for the week of Nov. 29-Dec. 5, 2025:
- County Road 2074 at I-75 (Bridge #260056) (29.639941675129865, -82.40202024499874). Daytime lane closures with flaggers Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for routine overpass maintenance.
- Northwest 39th Avenue (State Road 222) from Northwest 14th Street to Northwest 12th Terrace (207533-2-52-01/207611-5-52-01) (29.688550370482996, -82.33888137460859). Nighttime lane closures Wednesday and Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. for road work.
- Northwest 39th Avenue (State Road 222) from Northwest 40th Street to Northwest 24th Boulevard (207533-2-52-01/207611-5-52-01) (29.688643553139848, -82.376507375847). Nighttime lane closures Monday and Tuesday from 8 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. for road work.
- State Road 26 from Southwest 38th Street to Gale Lemerand Drive (29.652275647849578, -82.36780862173309). Daytime lane closures weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for roadside work.
- Waldo Road at University Avenue (439489-2-52-01) (29.65199125566237, -82.3112684727599). Daytime lane closures weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for road work.


Can you please finish nw 53rd avenue from nw 43rd street east to 441 (13th street)
Anyone know why DOT is digging up the existing grass between the sidewalk and the roadway and replacing it with new grass? Seems redundant and wasteful to me.
