FHP identifies pedestrian killed on I-75

Florida Highway Patrol has identified the man killed on I-75 yesterday as Gregory Steven Surprenant, 51, of Gainesville. Surprenant was walking in the southbound lane of I-75 near Archer Road after dark and was hit by an SUV. No charges have been filed.
