Fire rescue crews put out fire at pole barn, save nearby home

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – At about 3:30 a.m. today, seven Alachua County Fire Rescue (ACFR) crews and a drone team responded to a pole barn fire near a residence. The barn was fully involved in flames when the crews arrived; according to ACFR’s social media posts, “Crews had a good knock down and used foam during overhaul.”
