Firefighters rescue three dogs, put out fire in Fairbanks

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – At about 3:30 p.m. this afternoon, units from Alachua County Fire Rescue, Gainesville Fire Rescue, and the Windsor Fire Department responded to the Fairbanks community for a report of a house fire.
ACFR Rescue 35 was the first unit on scene, followed by Gainesville Engine 3. Engine 3 was able to make entry and rescue three dogs from the residence. All homeowners were able to evacuate before our units arrived on scene. The fire was confined to the living room.
Alachua County Fire Rescue would like to remind everyone to check their smoke detectors and ensure they are operational monthly.
Thank God for the quick action of Alauchua fire Rescue, and Gainesville fire rescue and Windsor fire rescue for rescuing the three dogs from the burning 🥵 trailer and the other occupants. Thank God almighty that everyone was ok. I was coming home at the time everything was happening, I immediately begin to pray 🙏🏾 for my neighbor in the name of Jesus amen 🙏🏾.
