TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – On Sunday, December 29, 2024, former President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, passed away.
Pursuant to the President’s orders and as a mark of respect, Governor Ron DeSantis has directed the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at all local and state buildings, installations, and grounds throughout the State of Florida until sunset on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. Â
