Florida Department of Children & Families warns about NGOs bringing in illegal immigrants via federal programs

Staff report

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today the Florida Department of Children and Families sent a letter to Florida’s Congressional Delegation, warning that non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating under the guidance of the Office of Refugee Resettlement are knowingly placing children in unsafe, unvetted settings and, even worse, are explicitly prohibited from reporting concerns to law enforcement. Recent reporting also shows that these NGOs are potentially making billions off of the unchecked flow of vulnerable children.

The letter states that these practices undermine the actions being taken by Governor Ron DeSantis’ administration to combat human trafficking and protect children. In addition, the letter states, these NGOs fund and operationalize the flow of illegal immigration into the United States through various programs authorized by the federal government using tax-payer dollars. Once these illegal immigrants have entered the country, the NGOs are providing government-sanctioned welfare services and resources to these individuals.

The letter asks Florida’s Congressional Delegation to read Florida’s Grand Jury Report on the impacts of illegal immigration and hold the Office of Refugee Resettlement and their contractors accountable by making them address the Grand Jury’s findings.

  • How coincidental is that?

Wonder if the State has gotten news of Poe’s business venture?

  • Yeah, the Governor doesn’t like the competition for immigrant props to send to Martha’s Vineyard.

A source for the referenced article is:

“The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) is an American anti-immigration think tank. It favors far lower immigration numbers and produces analyses to further those views. The CIS was founded by historian Otis L. Graham and eugenicist and white nationalist John Tanton in 1985 as a spin-off of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR).”

    • Employees… disobey…corrective actions…employer.

      Still waiting.

    • The right wingers can be relied upon to report the left wing grift and vice versa.

    • Blah, blah, blah! DeSantis bad! You forgot to include Clemons and Perry in your normal cut and paste!

Your source? Wikipedia article written by a lifetime immigration supporter, ironically also making millions from Federal Programs as the Executive Director of said organization, similar to what Poe plans! That’s a really weak rebuttal!

Go lay down somewhere in the corner!

  • These NGO’s are making millions from US taxpayers to assist the Democrats in getting more voters. They’re undermining American citizens to bring in illegal invaders to our country. They need to be exposed and stopped.

  • More dirty deeds from the Left to undermine and destroy what they refer to as ‘democracy’ (constitutional republic).

  • Where’s the hotline to report human traffickers like former Gainesville mayor Lauren Poe?
