Four arrested for attacking men at E. University gas station

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Elijah Darius Lee, 20; Terry Lee, 52; Brian Xavier Robinson, 20; and a 16-year-old boy were arrested yesterday evening after allegedly attacking two men at the Sunoco at 4221 E. University Avenue.
At about 7 p.m. last night, one of the victims reportedly got into an argument with Elijah Lee, Robinson, and the juvenile inside the convenience store at the Sunoco; the victim told an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy that they were threatening to fight and harm him. During the fight, the second victim reportedly stepped between them and tried to break up the argument.
When the two victims left the store to walk back toward their car, the three defendants reportedly followed them and kept arguing with the first victim; Terry Lee reportedly walked up to join the other three defendants at that point. Elijah Lee allegedly hit the first victim and then hit the second victim; both victims fell to the ground, where all four defendants allegedly hit and kicked them multiple times before leaving the area.
The defendants were later located at their house near the gas station.
Post Miranda, all four defendants reportedly said the fight started because the first victim directed a racial epithet at them. They said Elijah Lee dared the first victim to say it again, and when he did, Elijah Lee hit him, then the others joined in.
The report states that video surveillance footage from the store clearly showed the fight, with all four defendants hitting and kicking the two victims in the parking lot.
All four defendants were charged with two counts of battery.
Elijah Lee has one misdemeanor conviction for trespassing at a construction site. Terry Lee has two misdemeanor convictions, one for improperly displaying a weapon and one for petit theft. Robinson has no criminal history. Judge Meshon Rawls released them on their own recognizance with the standard condition that they have no contact with the victims.

Yep. A word is all it takes for a pack of animals to attack. And that is if the “WORD” was really said or they are using name to beat up people. I wonder if there are any independent witness or video too say for sure.
To me it doesn’t matter if there were witnesses or video, or even if a “word” they didn’t like was spoken. These primitive, no impulse control, people would beat people over a word? And that says everything about them.
I agree. But the N word is always used as excuse for gang beatings in liberal cities. I just want to see if the the word was used or this group made it up as an excuse to gang beat someone.

Sorry if I don’t believe the 4 defendants that “The” word was said. This is used as an excuse all too often and a majority of the time the word was never uttered, they just want an excuse to get away with beating people.

It’s disturbing how certain people get on articles where African Americans are arrested and troll. Never do I see this kind of energy on posts about pale child molesters, murderers, or drug dealers. Get a life!!!

That’s what many refer to as “selective” reading. It’s like selective vandalism, selective book bans, and selective memory are but a few.
I’ve mentioned numerous times child molesters should be castrated – black or white.
Go back and read my comments about any child molester. There is no cure for their sexual desires except a complete mind clearing. That is also true of any serial rapist.
