Four transported to the hospital after crash

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Around 8:00 p.m. tonight, GFR firefighters responded to a significant vehicle crash at SW 34th St and Williston Rd. A patient was extricated using the jaws of life and other rescue tools in just under 20 min of arrival on scene. One person was transported as a trauma alert to UF Health and three others were transported with less severe injuries.
This was a single-vehicle accident? What in the world happened? I can’t believe anyone could make it out alive seeing the condition of this vehicle. I hope everyone survives and completely recovers.
