Gainesville man arrested for pushing woman to the ground, threatening to “put a bullet” in officer
Staff report
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gregory Fred Gregoire, 55, was arrested yesterday after allegedly pushing a woman to the ground and then threatening to “put a bullet” in the arresting deputy’s brain.
At about 10:35 a.m. on December 24, an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a home in the 7700 block of NE Waldo Road, where Gregoire was reportedly arguing with the victim while gathering his belongings to leave the home. The deputy reported that he saw Gregoire push the victim to the ground, where she landed on a pile of shattered glass and suffered minor injuries to one hand.
Post Miranda, Gregoire reportedly admitted that he shoved the victim but said she shoved him first; the deputy reported that he never saw the victim touch or strike Gregoire.
On the way to the jail, Gregoire allegedly said he wished the deputy would die and then said he would put a bullet in the deputy’s brain; he also allegedly said that he would fight the deputy when the handcuffs were removed at the jail.
Gregoire has been charged with felony battery with a previous battery conviction and making a death threat to a law enforcement officer. He has five felony convictions (one violent) and 10 misdemeanor convictions (five violent). He was arrested for battery in April 2024 and sentenced to two years of probation in June, but he was arrested in Daytona in July, resulting in the revocation of his probation and a seven-month jail sentence.
Judge Luis Bustamante set bail at $125,000.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Tis the season…..to be a complete “A” hole.
Another Trump Supporter
Statistics show it is about 20 to 1 he is a Democrat.
That man lives rent free in your head. You might want to seek professional help. If you conflate a local domestic violence to the incoming POTUS, you have SERIOUS issues.
He can’t vote, convicted felon.
Had convicted felons not been deprived of their right to vote, the Democrats would have won the election!
Hate scambags who voted for convicted felon that should be in prison
A course in Logic 101 might calm your Trump obsession. Also your obvious hatred of freedom to vote for the candidate of your choice.
Bail ? Why ?
Everyone gets a bail amount, usually. What I want to know is if he violated his felony probation earlier this year and was given a 7 month sentence in July, why is he out already?
He got credit for time served since his arrest.
Why would that (idiot) woman live with him? Quote “He has five felony convictions (one violent) and 10 misdemeanor convictions (five violent). He was arrested for battery in April 2024 and sentenced to two years of probation in June, but he was arrested in Daytona in July, resulting in the revocation of his probation and a seven-month jail sentence.” 🤡🤡🤡
May have been family like sister or something, and the violence happened when she was throwing him out, that is the most dangerous time for when trying to get rid of someone abusive.
Women wanted to marry Jeffrey Dahlmer.
This is exactly what Matthew Calimari does for his Orange Hero , donald . Threaten any woman that speaks the truth about him . Will Get Worse Next Month , Hang On Tight .
And another dismissed by our ‘understanding’ courts.
