Two cars collided at the intersection of CR 335 and CR 241 in Levy County at 4:50 p.m. on June 19, resulting in serious injuries to 3 of the 4 vehicle occupants.
According to a release from Florida Highway Patrol, a 2013 Fiat 500 driven by a 22-year-old Williston man, with a 19-year-old Chiefland man as a passenger, was traveling east on CR 335 and failed to stop at the intersection with CR 241. A 2011 Ford Fiesta driven by a 22-year-old Gainesville woman, with a 22-year-old Gainesville man as a passenger, was traveling on CR 335 and was struck on the right side by the Fiat. The Ford overturned on the south shoulder of CR 335, east of CR 241. The Chiefland man and both Gainesville residents were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
We need to have a Flashing Light At this VERY Dangerous intersection! I almost died in a very bad car accident at this very same intersection in August of 2007!!!
