GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Angel Diamond Curtis, 25, was arrested early this morning after allegedly entering the apartment of a former girlfriend while armed with a knife and pepper spray.
At about 3:30 a.m. on January 18, a Gainesville Police Department officer responded to an apartment in the 1500 block of NW 12th Street, where the victim said Curtis had been texting her because she was upset that another woman was in the victim’s apartment.
The officer reported that Curtis wrote, “I’m outside!” and “I’m finna find you and f*** you and this b**** up.”
The officer reported that Curtis went to the victim’s apartment and knocked on the door, and the victim let her in because Curtis had recently broken the door in a similar incident.
Curtis reportedly walked away from the apartment and pulled out a knife and pepper spray, one in each hand; she allegedly told the victim not to touch her and then ran past the victim into the apartment.
Curtis reportedly searched for the other woman in the apartment, but the other woman was hiding inside a locked room, and the officer reported that when he arrived, Curtis was holding pepper spray and yelling at the victim.
Post Miranda, Curtis reportedly said the victim knew she was coming to the apartment because she had sent text messages; she acknowledged that the victim did not want her inside the apartment, but she went inside, anyway.
Curtis has been charged with armed burglary, making a written threat to kill or harm, and battery. She has one local misdemeanor conviction for property damage from a 2023 incident, and Judge Sean Brewer ordered her held without bail pending a hearing on a motion from the State Attorney’s office to hold her without bail until trial. On January 20, the State Attorney’s office notified the judge that they will not seek pre-trial detention, and on January 21, Judge David Kreider set bail at $155,000.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Dykes Gone Wild
I was going to say, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned,” but it’s hard to say if that’s applicable in this instance.
Another ” diamond” in the rough.
She certainly didn’t live up to her name…..”Angel”.
