Gainesville woman arrested for running over man’s foot with a truck
Staff report
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Charlotte Tsianina Shaw, 41, was arrested yesterday for allegedly running over a man’s foot with a truck.
An Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy reported that at about 4:43 p.m. on May 4, Shaw and the victim were arguing after Shaw reportedly tried to “serve” the victim with eviction paperwork that the victim said was unofficial and had not been properly filed with the court system. When the victim pointed this out while standing at the driver’s side door of a truck driven by Shaw, Shaw allegedly reversed the truck over the victim’s foot, drove forward again, and then reversed out of driveway as the victim screamed for help.
The deputy reported that the victim had large cuts on the inner part of his leg, and his foot was turning purple and swelling; the victim was transported to an emergency room for medical treatment.
Post Miranda, Shaw reportedly said she did not recall running over the victim’s foot.
Shaw has been charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm. She has two misdemeanor convictions (non-violent) and two criminal traffic convictions. Judge Susan Miller-Jones set bail at $30,000.
