Gainesville woman arrested for sending nude pictures to minor

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Karla Lashea Henderson, 31, was arrested last night and charged with sexual cyberstalking and sending harmful material to minors after allegedly sending nude pictures of another woman to several people, including a 16-year-old boy.
Henderson allegedly sent the explicit pictures because she was angry with the victim, and when confronted with the information that one of the recipients was a minor, she reportedly said she “didn’t give a f***.”
When Gainesville Police Department officers went to Henderson’s home to arrest her, they reportedly found that she had taken her belongings, turned her cell phone off, and fled. According to the arrest report, she was located at the Walmart on Waldo Road.
Henderson has no criminal convictions but was arrested in 2020 for hitting another woman with a hammer. The charges were later dropped.
Judge Tatum Davis set bail at $200,000.

Whew……for a moment there I thought she had sent nude pics of herself to the poor kid. Now….that would be traumatic.

If a 16 year old boy cannot see a nude female, that’s a problem.
This is an absurd charge and a waste of taxpayers money.
Ok, I’m all for a high bail, but….can anyone show me a 16 yr old boy that has not seen a picture of a naked woman? It’s not acceptable but unfortunately that’s the world we live in now. Was it a solicitation for sex with a 16 yr old? Totally different. $200k…. There must be more to the story.
Meanwhile repeat offenders get a slap and put back out on the street to endanger us all. We are in the upside down.

Let see if I got this straight. Send nude pics to a 16 year old boy and you get a $200K bail (no prior convictions). Have an extensive Felony record and get probation.
