Gainesville woman arrested for threatening to kill juvenile with an axe
Staff report
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Christina Teresa Madison, 45, was arrested yesterday after allegedly threatening to kill a juvenile with a large axe.
At about 3:45 p.m. on March 30, a Gainesville Police Department officer responded to a home in Northwood Pines, where the juvenile victim said Madison had threatened to kill her with an axe. Madison allegedly forced her way into the victim’s locked bedroom by breaking the door handle with a woodcutting axe, and when the victim retreated into her bedroom, Madison said she was going to kill her with the axe. While holding the axe, Madison allegedly threw a small table at the victim and then pushed her against the bed and grabbed her throat.
The victim was reportedly trapped against the bed but tried to fight back, and she eventually grabbed the axe away from Madison, although Madison allegedly continued to hit the victim until the officer arrived.
The officer reported that when he arrived at the home, he saw Madison coming out of the hallway to the victim’s bedroom. He saw a “very large woodcutting axe” on the victim’s bed and noted that the victim’s bedroom door and door handle were broken.
Post Miranda, Madison reportedly admitted to grabbing the woodcutting axe and forcing her way into the bedroom. She said she never threatened to kill the victim with the axe, but she admitted to throwing objects at the victim, hitting her, and grabbing her throat. She said she did it because she was tired of the victim disrespecting her authority.
Madison has been charged with domestic aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and child abuse without causing great bodily harm. She has no local criminal convictions, and Judge Adam Lee set bail at $20,000.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

I feel almost guilty for living what I consider a “normal” life! Who in the hell breaks down a door with an axe to kill someone?!?! Of course, duh…she was being “disrespected”! (that tired mantra of all angry black women).
That’s crazy, but forget that tired cliche of angry black women, That’s a racist cliche for assertive black women. There’s a big difference!
Another one that is one gene pool removed from a cro magnon or neanderthal.
Really, what a joke! Stupidity is in many gene pools.
No local crime record? What drew her here ?
She may have taken the phrase of “Tough Love” out of context and to a different level.
