Gainesville woman turned over to ICE after being arrested for disturbing the peace

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Patricia Araque Hernandez, 18, has been turned over to ICE following a March 10 arrest for disturbing the peace.
Hernandez, who is listed as a citizen of Venezuela on her arrest report, was arrested after Gainesville Police Department officers responded to a call about a group of women who were disturbing the peace at Lexington Crossing Apartments at about 11:30 p.m. on March 10.
The officer reported that Hernandez was running around the pool area of the complex, shouting expletives at officers and at the other women. When officers asked her to leave the pool area and return to her apartment, she reportedly said she would spit on officers if they tried to remove her. The other women also tried to get Hernandez to leave, but she allegedly went around the other women to return to the pool and continue her previous behavior.
The officer reported that Hernandez tried to hit several of the other women when they attempted to guide her away from the pool.
Hernandez was eventually taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct.
Hernandez has a juvenile conviction from 2025 but no adult criminal history; she told Court Services that she was a Santa Fe College student who has lived in Alachua County for eight years. Judge Susan Miller-Jones set bail at $2,500 but noted that she had an ICE hold, and she was turned over to ICE on March 15.

I have nothing against legal immigration. You come here you apply for citizenship You get a Social Security number pledgeoath to the United States of America and live a productive life. If you hear illegally, I hope every damn one of you are deported.

She came here as a kid 8 years ago – still a juvenile in 2025 – so no, she didn’t sneak in. Based on knowing ICE is working off the pressure of quotas from the Nazi in the WH, no standards, and poorly trained officers and that the majority of detainees so far have no criminal record – as was promised – any quick judgement on the teenager getting stupid drunk – something no one commenting here ever did, no doubt – should be withheld.
Of course those commenting here who where cheered by Ice killing American citizens in cold blood like living in a police state.
