Gators running back, 7-Eleven team up to support UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital

Press release from UF Health
GAINESVILLE, Fla. — This weekend, Florida Gators running back Trevor Etienne will use his feet for more than spin moves and touchdowns.
Etienne is a part of 7-Eleven’s Cleat Crew program, and his cleats from Saturday’s Florida-Georgia showdown in Jacksonville will raise money for UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital.
Now through Nov. 1, fans can bid on Etienne’s custom cleats designed by The Shoe Surgeon. The winning bid supports critical care and specialized programs at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Etienne is one of nine college football players in the Cleat Crew. The program helps “change kids’ health” by raising money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Gross
This is egregious and one reason why many were against monetizing college athletes.
You can change kids health by not pumping them full of pharmaceutical and trash food from day one.
