Georgia man arrested for pointing gun at pair in road rage incident on Archer Road
Staff report
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Christopher O. Clemons, 34, of Quitman, GA, was arrested yesterday morning after allegedly pointing a gun at two people in a “road rage” incident.
The victims reportedly told a Gainesville Police Department officer that they were engaged in a “road rage” incident with Clemons in the 2800 block of SW Archer Road at about 9:45 a.m. when Clemons pointed a gun at them from his car.
When the officer made contact with Clemons in the 2300 block of SW Archer Road, he reportedly saw a pistol in plain view on the passenger seat of Clemons’ car. The victims positively identified Clemons as the man who had pointed a gun at them.
Clemons’ criminal history is currently unavailable because records are not posted on weekends. Clemons was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; Judge George Wright set bail at $10,000.
Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
People need to learn to control their emotions. Road rage is a perfect example of not being able to control one’s emotions. What ever started a dispute happened and it will change. It’s one thing if concerned one person safety but 9 times out of ten someone is upset at the other over driving habits. Now Clemons will give up his 2nd ammendment rights and maybe his freedom over a stupid dispute that could have been easily avoided. Think people.
10% of 10k is 1k, to spring him out of jail.
So, allow me to project here if I may, someone in Ga will wire him the cash. Spring him out the jail, and next time he will be charged with shooting someone.
A bondsman has to agree to bond him out for 10%. They are not obligated to do so if they feel he or anyone is a bad risk.
Another out of state genius doing brilliant acts in our “smart city” 👹🤡🍦🍦🍦D
Hey Judge George Wright, this is a gun violence crime by an out of state perp. $10K is a little light. Are you part of our problem, or are you going to help solve the problem of no or little consequence for these actions?

Gainesville can really draw them in.
I have a bad temper when it comes to “stupid driving”, but, Bear9765 , is right, it is stupid on my part not to exercise, control over my emotions when I am behind an IDIOT.
Yes, if there is any conflict on the road, take no action that can possibly give the other person a bigger role in your life. Diffuse and disengage, and live happily ever after.
Still you have to be patience,
Patience is a virtue🙏✌️
I actually witnessed this the victim are not any victims by any means the suspect cut the victim off -lane change(what looked to be accidental) the victim began begin to ride beside him yelling at him swerving at him getting in front of him break checking him in the firearm was not brought out until the victim stopped in front of him and got out and suspect through the gun and attempted to drive off and I guess that’s where the victim got butt hurt or whatever and called the police department
