Governor Ron DeSantis and Attorney General Ashley Moody Announce Lawsuit Against the CDC’s Unlawful Mask Mandate on Public Transportation

Press release from the Office of Governor Ron DeSantis

Today, Governor Ron DeSantis and Attorney General Ashley Moody announced Florida is leading 20 states in a multistate action against the unlawful mask mandate on public transportation kept in place by the Biden Administration. Attorney General Moody and joining states argue that the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) mandate exceeds the agency’s authority and interferes with state laws banning forced masking.

“Florida has led the nation in standing up to misguided federal government policies and fighting back against heavy-handed mandates that have no scientific backing,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “If politicians and celebrities can attend the Super Bowl unmasked, every U.S. citizen should have the right to fly unmasked. It is well past time to get rid of this unnecessary mandate and get back to normal life.”

“President Biden’s shortsighted, heavy-handed, and unlawful travel policies are frustrating travelers and causing chaos on public transportation,” said Attorney General Ashley Moody. “It’s long past time to alleviate some of the pressure on travelers and those working in the travel industry by immediately ending Biden’s unlawful public transportation mandates. I’m proud to stand with Governor DeSantis and to lead my fellow Attorneys General in this multistate action to end the forced masking of travelers in the U.S.”

The current CDC order, which has been in place for over a year, was set to expire on March 18. The Biden Administration chose to extend the order until April 18, despite the lack of high-quality data to support the efficacy of mask mandates, case numbers, and hospitalizations experiencing a large downward trend and 81.7% of the population having received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

The complaint seeks to end the unlawful mask mandate on public transportation and establish a permanent injunction against enforcement of the mandate.

The following states have joined Florida in the complaint: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia, and West Virginia.

  • 1. They still wearing masks on public transportation because they took that “free” federal money (American Rescue Funds) that has to be attached somehow to Covid in order to receive them.

    2. It’s a political statement: Some people wear masks
For social justice. Some people wear the mask because
They are fascists, communists, or support the great reset/new world order and global totalitarianism…that they support the cause or are a part of the group that supports ending
World hunger, are for regulating CO2 emissions & stopping climate change, are for social justice, equity, & inclusion, are for universal basic income, are for going
To a cashless society, are for free healthcare & free education, are godless and for becoming
Transhuman as per the 5th industrial revolution…”you
Will own nothing and be happy”…

    3. Some people wear the mask because they want
To hide their faces so they can’t be identified. If you
See someone wearing both a hoodie & face mask at
The same time when its 90 or 100 degree weather out, they’re
Probably a criminal. They wear the mask so people and facial recognition programs can’t identify them.

    4. The government used the MSM to implement their great reset/new world order plan…Schwab from the WEF said, “the pandemic was the perfect cover to implement the great reset”…from the great reset website: “quarantines resulted in a 20% reduction in CO2 emissions” and “they’d like to lock us down until 2030”… a lot of hypochondriacs and brainwashed Covidians think that wearing a paper or cloth mask
Will protect them from the “invisible enemy”…
