TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Yesterday, Governor Ron DeSantis signed the following bills:

CS/HB 1337 – Estates
HB 929 – Local Government Regulation of Chickees
CS/HB 961 – Salvage Certificates of Title and Certificates of Destruction
HB 895 – Trustee Settlement and Discharge

The chickee law is a good one and a rare example of something I agree with the governor and legislature on.

It mandates no permits required on chickees constructed by Seminole members, a practice growing in many places in S Florida.
