Governor Ron DeSantis Signs Eleven Bills, including Perry/Clemons Early Childhood Music Education Incentive Pilot Program

Today, Governor Ron DeSantis signed the following bills:
- HB 929 – City of West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County
- HB 1107 – City of Inverness, Citrus County
- HB 1135 – Santa Rosa County
- CS/HB 7071 – Taxation
- SB 222 – Swimming Pool Specialty Contracting Services
- CS/SB 266 – Motor Vehicle Insurance
- SB 434 – Florida Tourism Marketing
- SB 474 – Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles
- SB 638 – Early Childhood Music Education Incentive Pilot Program
- CS/SB 1110 – Grease Waste Removal and Disposal
- CS/SB 1368 – Trusts
SB 638, which was sponsored by Rep. Chuck Clemons and Sen. Keith Perry, extends the expiration date of the Early Childhood Music Education Incentive Pilot Program from June 30, 2022, to June 30, 2023. The Legislature established the Early Childhood Music Education Incentive Pilot Program in 2017 to assist certain school districts in implementing comprehensive music education programs in kindergarten through grade 2, beginning with the 2017-2018 school year.
