Taking away more of our rights.
Exactly what “rights” are being taken away here?
The bill makes it harder to get initiatives on the ballot and even criminalizes failure to follow the stringent rules now added.
This is more power grabbing by the governor and state legislature who keep expanding theirs while minimizing the power of local governments and citizens, We already have the examples of the state GOP crippling the widely supported ballot initiatives which set up new funding for restoring our springs as well the one restoring the rights of felons who served their time. They get away with this crap because we have zombie voters who don’t follow the legislatures actions.
So that’s what’s wrong with Gainesville.
Thanks for clearing that up!
The right to petition your government.
Exactly Thomas
All you disgusting Republicans should be deported to El Salvador’s CECOT prison. And good riddance.
Charming…..and this is exactly the reason that the Left lost.
TSD is really showing Hoyt….. Seek professional help before your head pops.
OUR CONSTITUTION LOOKS LIKE A BI-PARTISIAN POORLY WRITTEN PIECE OF LEGISLATION INSTEAD OF A OUTLINE OF OUR RIGHTS AND LIBERTIES. DOGE IT.
58 pages to say, ‘You can’t do that, if you don’t do this, provide this, or verify that.’
And that is part of what’s wrong with government.
Most people today are so busy being Party A or Party B, They forget Officials are employed and elected by us to work for US, not the other way around. Partisan infighting simply separates the masses and empowers those with a poor track record of performance or morality. Stop Complaining about the Results You Got For WORK You Never DID
goes both ways, seems like most of the officials have forgotten that they are employed and elected to work for us the people. 🙁 and they don’t care because the changes they make doesn’t affect them with their different insurance and pensions.
