GPD asks for help in identifying suspects in Walmart shoplifting incident

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying four young women who are suspects in a shoplifting incident at the northwest Walmart on November 9.

On Sunday, November 9, four young women wearing blankets and bonnets entered Walmart (5700 NW 23rd St.) and were captured on surveillance video while concealing and stealing approximately $55 worth of merchandise.

Anyone with information regarding these individuals or their whereabouts is urged to contact Officer Porta at 352-213-6177 or portacc@cityofgainesville.org or remain anonymous and contact Alachua County Crime Stoppers at 352-372-7867 or www.stopcrime.tv

      • Thanks I try but is it really that far from reality because we both know WCJB and Gainesville Sun will never report this especially when they get identified when GPD uses some GHS yearbooks because I am sure they’re all in there or are they zoned for Buchholz pronounced BRewHolts with a heavy empathize on the BR. I hope at least one these valedictorians is 18 so we can see how colorful they look in their mugshots. I suspect this case may already be solved and please AC we all need closure on this crimewave so please follow up especially when they end up being juvenile. Too bad this isn’t Polk County and Grady Judd when for sure post their pictures as juvenile. We know Scott ain’t going post any of their pictures.
