  • I just drove by a lifeless body on NW 16th an hour ago.

Government must start enforcing traffic laws once again. Too many people drive like they own the road because there is no accountability for their reckless actions. Local govt has already allowed over development which directly leads to traffic safety issues… but atleast this mess can be tamped down if laws are enforced…So fund more traffic cops at a min. Your turn commission, your turn

    • There is a new development popping up on NW 98 street which should have been 4 laned 5 years ago. I think Cornella and Double dip Alford have a resurfacing project in 2028. Cease buying land , fix the fn roads.

  • I have compassion for the victim and his injuries, and yes traffic enforcement is a terrible problem in Alachua county, but did the victim hava lights as required by law? Why was he riding in the street, was he suicidal? Was he wearing light colored clothes at 2am?
