GPD asks public for help in investigation of homicide in Phoenix neighborhood

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville Police Department is actively investigating a homicide that occurred last night in the Phoenix neighborhood (the 3100 block of SW 26th Way). 

At approximately 10:00 p.m. on May 1, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area. A short time later, an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound arrived at a local hospital. Preliminary investigation indicates the victim was shot in the Phoenix neighborhood. Tragically, he later succumbed to his injuries.

This remains an active investigation, and we are asking for the community’s help.   • There should be a comprehensive investigation of the many landlords in the Phoenix condo rental mixture. I bet many are lawyers, judges and ACLUSPLCDNC NGO admins and drug dealers. 💩👺🤡👿👹
