GPD makes arrest in Woodland Park homicide

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – D’Angelo Latrell Deed, 20, has been arrested and charged with murder and armed robbery in the shooting death of a 16-year-old on August 10 in Woodland Park.
Documents in the case have been sealed, and the incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call GPD Detective Bernal at 352-393-7729 or Crime Stoppers at 352-372–7867.
Another young person’s life who mattered to someone lost to someone who didn’t care.
It ain’t the guns, it ain’t the color of a person’s skin…time to stop with the blaming.
It comes down to their community permitting this and society tolerating the lack of consequences.
It’s related to the problem of a society not a community more people die in your community from drugs overdoses than from guns in mine I guess y’all allowed it .that’s the reality let’s

So you are comparing people who overdose (sometimes on the altered or contaminated drugs sold by ‘your’ community) and who only (mostly)hurt themselves, to those who hurt and kill others (many of whom are totally innocent). Got it.
Are you really contending those who overdose only hurt themselves? Think about your statement. Perhaps we can begin a discussion related to the impact on the families, or perhaps the social implications (not to mention “YOUR” not-so-subtle racial inference). Ahem, “your” community must be purchasing those contaminated drugs (please do not tell me your community is obtaining them illegally!). I dare mention those innocent people being killed by fentanyl. I’m glad you “got it”.
I am with you Bigboy. All the upvotes to Rogers Corner indicate to me, a divide; for instance, the suggestion that it is “their” community points out one thing – take a guess. NAILED IT!

Didn’t he get the memo? Gainesville talked for two days at the Hilton and said “Don’t you all do no more shooting.” Problem solved.

I’m not sure what is going on in this world today. But this senseless killing needs to stop. So many people are affected when stupid things like this happens. What a waste of life. I hope he gets what he deserves plus more.
We live in a godless society where the break down of the nuclear family happened decades ago. It is all down here from here unless people change their ways and turn back to God. It takes a village to raise a child maybe this young man didn’t have a good father figure, or maybe the father did the best he could. There are not may decent jobs in Gainesville and the cost of living is so high many people are frustrated and hopeless.
Another gang banger going to the big house. And…..lots more ready to take his place.
Evidence sealed with a 20 year old defendant? Wonder who the mystery party is 🤔
Probably a witness (or witnesses?) who are afraid of getting offed by the other gangbangers.
There’s another suspect that’s why it’s sealed. Whenever there’s a murder an they don’t have all the suspects in custody they seal the case so certain facts and evidence don’t get out also
