GPD seeking suspect in bank robbery

On September 26th, 2019, at 7:36am, GPD officers responded to Drummond Bank, 3436 W. University Ave., to investigate a report of an armed robbery. The investigation revealed that while employees were in the process of preparing to open, a suspect, wearing dark clothing, pointed a weapon at the teller and demanded money. The suspect obtained cash and fled the area on foot. Responding officers searched the area but did not locate the individual.
The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark athletic pants and a long-sleeved top. The suspect fled the scene on foot in a westerly direction.

GPD is asking the public to help identify the person of interest shown in the picture and video.
