FOUND: GPD seeks missing man, last seen near the northwest Walmart

Updated on August 14: Mr. Godfrey has been found and is safe.

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gainesville Police Department is asking the public to watch for Dustin Godfrey, a 35-year-old white male who left the area of 3200 NW 68th Avenue (north of the northwest Walmart, west of U.S. Hwy 441) around 6 p.m. on August 11.

He is 5’10” and approximately 260 pounds, with short brown hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a green or tan t-shirt and blue jean cargo shorts with black shoes.

He is autistic and a possible danger to himself. Please report any information or sightings to the non-emergency line at 352-955-1818 option 5.
