Grand Opening of Turkey Creek Golf Course

Press release from Turkey Creek Golf

Turkey Creek Golf is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of Turkey Creek Golf Course located on US 441 between Gainesville and the City of Alachua, Saturday, January 23, 2021. Festivities will begin at 9:45 a.m. with a continental breakfast from the Creek’s 19th Restaurant, sponsored by Gainesville Pest Control.

At 10:30 a.m. there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony and remarks from Turkey Creek residents, Turkey Creek Golf LLC, the Turkey Creek Homeowners’ Association, Davey Golf (the new golf management partner), City of Alachua officials, and Gator Junior Golf.

After the remarks, there will be several ceremonial first drives hit to commemorate this great achievement, and following the first drives, there will be a 4-person 22-team scramble that had all slots filled within 48 hours of announcing the tournament. Because this Scramble was filled so quickly, another Scramble is planned for Sunday, January 24, 2021, at 9 a.m. You may sign up for this tournament through EventBrite.com. Please contact Turkey Creek Golf at 386-518-6815 or email info@turkeycreekgolf.net for more information.

Come join us in celebrating the re-opening of Turkey Creek Golf Course. This has been a remarkable journey, and the best is yet before us.

Please note that since we are still amid the pandemic, we are abiding by CDC guidelines of face coverings and social distancing.
