This is your chance to provide input on off-leash dog park design choices, dog play equipment, and more! If you aren’t able to attend the meeting, you may also send your comments to Pete McNiece, City of Gainesville, 352-393-8544, McNiecePR@gainesvillefl.gov.

  • Thank you. A dog park would be a nice addition and at a get together we were saying how it would be nice.

  • Very little equipment is needed, except for sufficient benches, shade, and water. Dog waste bags and a big enough container to dispose of them are obvious, and the city has been good about that in many locations. Thanks to whoever is heading this effort up. Please make the enclosure big enough for dogs to run after balls.
