Gainesville Police Department, the Office of State Attorney Brian Kramer, 8th Judicial Circuit, Big Daddy Guns, and Save Our City Initiative are sponsoring a Gun Buy Back event on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will be held at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 718 SE 11th Street, in Gainesville.

Revolvers will be traded for a $100 Visa gift card, semi-automatic pistols will be traded for a $200 Visa gift card, and rifles and shotguns will be traded for a $300 Visa gift card. Gun safes will be available for purchase.

  • Is that taxpayer money being used to pay those high
Prices for those “no questions asked” Guns?

  • Anyone know if I can use the gift cards at any local gun stores? Can I go to a gun show and buy some junk old used shotguns for $75 each and trade them no questions asked for $300 gift cards I can use at a gun store to buy a new modern gun? Ka-ching, printing money.
