High Springs City Commissioner Wayne Bloodsworth backs Marshall Rawson for State House

Press release from Marshall Rawson for Florida State House
HAMPTON, Fla. — The Marshall Rawson for State Representative campaign today announced the endorsement of High Springs City Commissioner Wayne Bloodsworth.
“We need more conservative leaders in the Florida House who are committed to building high-trust societies and putting the needs of their communities first,” said Commissioner Wayne Bloodsworth. “Marshall Rawson will do that in Tallahassee. He is a strong Christian and a man of his word, and I know he will do everything he can to protect our beautiful High Springs from overdevelopment and be a strong representative for Alachua County and the rest of District 10. I’m proud to offer him my endorsement in this race and excited to join his growing team.”
Wayne Bloodsworth was first elected to serve Seat 2 on the High Springs City Commission during a special election in March of 2024. He is a member of First Baptist Church of High Springs and is an Assistant Scoutmaster of High Springs Boy Scout Troop 69.
“I am grateful to have Commissioner Bloodsworth’s support in this campaign,” said Marshall Rawson. “As District 10’s next state representative, I will fight to preserve the deep-seated values of our rural communities and protect High Springs from turning into Gainesville. It is a privilege to work alongside Commissioner Bloodsworth to defend the city’s Blue Laws, and when we get to Tallahassee, I look forward to our continued partnership to save our small-town way of life.”
Rawson is a lifelong Floridian and owns and operates Free State Growers, an agricultural business. Previously, he served as a Washington aide and intern to Republican Congressman Paul Broun, as a legal assistant to Secretary of State Cord Byrd, and as a legal intern for the Florida Department of Agriculture. A dedicated citizen-leader, he has also been an advocate across Florida for various issues, including immigration reform, state sovereignty, and agriculture. Marshall is the past Chairman of the Greater Melrose Republican Liberty Caucus and currently serves as the North Florida Regional Director of the Republican Liberty Caucus. He also serves in the Florida State Guard and has been deployed to the Texas border to help stop illegal immigration. Marshall and his wife Megan have been married for 8 years and have four children.

Wrong. Another Republican LIE. The conservative Republican majority in Tallahassee is a totally sold out pawn of the worst quick buck developers on earth. Paving and developing Florida into a real mess.
To claim he is a conservative and wants to ” protect High Springs from turning into Gainesville” is a lie. He wants to turn High Springs into Orlando.
I guess “fearless conservative” is the new way to describe a pro-sprawl fascist. What a choice, this guy and nepo baby.
Another gillum voter
Still waiting for you to admit how many times you voted for Trump, AFTER WE LEARNED HE HAS NO CONTROL OVER HIS SEXUAL IMPULSES.
Either does Biden. Hence having a relationship with a married women, showering with his own daughter, feeling up females during photo ops, hair sniffing. And that is just getting started. At the very least Trump likes adult women, not juveniles.
Trump appeared on the ABC talk show “The View” with his daughter in 2006 and said, “If Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”
“At least four women who competed in a Miss Teen USA beauty pageant told BuzzFeed News that Donald Trump walked into their dressing room while the contestants as young as 15 were undressing.”
“In the 1992 video, Trump, who was 46 at the time, can be heard talking to a little girl, asking her if she’s going to go up an escalator. After she says she is, Trump turns to the camera and says, “I am going to be dating her in 10 years. Can you believe it?””
He’s admitted on tape – surely you’ve heard it – admitting to sexual assault as a his SOP.
But you admit you voted for the freak Gillum.
Of course I did, BEFORE he went on his bender with a male prostitute.
WHAT’S YOUR EXCUSE , you cretin?
You’re dead on with that, Vote the Birch, as Newberry – and High Springs – are bulldozing full speed ahead to become bedroom communities to fill the county highways.
What is really laughable in the candidates claim – “committed to building high-trust societies and putting the needs of their communities first” – is that the state legislature, which no doubt loaded with “fearless conservatives, and governor, have systematically cut the power of “local communities” to deal with their problems in favor of laws giving that to power to developers and businesses. This includes everything from limiting local restraints on zoning and development and stacking the legal deck for businesses to sue local governments – including collecting attorney’s fees – if they can prove certain actions cost them money. Guess what? Limiting the number of new houses or requiring tree removal mitigation for instance, costs developers money.
“Fearless conservative” my rump. That means “roll over clown”. Hey, if this guy wants to be “fearless”, tell us you’re going to fight to get Alachua County more representation in the state legislature and in Congress. Everything else is more BS.
In all of your ramble you forgot that most of Alachua County is democrats. They are incapable of making the right decisions wheather it a city or county government. Gainesville, Archer, and Alachua keep digging themselves into greater debt. The county keeps wasting money on loans and bailouts of local government decisions. Bloodsworth has only made positive decisions in local government and is doing his part to keep High Springs and it’s citizens proud and morally right. You have not started your meds to combat your TDS, and DDS symptoms. Please listen to your doctor. Trump and DeSantis won your poor choices lost get over it.
Hard to argue with someone who either likes being lied to, or is too stupid to know when it is happening (every day by our president). but I’ll swear off criticizing those who won an election when you do, genius.
Funny thing is Biden probably never realized he actually won a presidential election. As more comes out about his dementia and how it was covered up it is more likely he thought he won a Booby prize at the Delaware Fair. Gotta be proud of the Biden family and the democratic party for committing elder abuse.
Biden was and is smarter than Trump who was stupid when younger and now old, in clear decline. Biden was smart enough to so far be ranked by historians as the 14th best president, smart enough to attend and lead the NATO conference last July, smart enough to eat the Republicans’ lunch AGAIN at his last SOTU speech, and smart enough to lead us to have the economy listed as the “most envied by the world” in the fall issue of the centrist, respected, and conservative – not MAGA, which is not – British magazine The Economist”. Of course Trump is busy ruining our economy and can’t get Biden out of his feeble and polluted brain, bringing him up every time he speaks now. Who does that low life lying routine – no previous presidents out of respect for their position, that’s for sure.
But hey bear, we get you’re too dumb to fish, and too lazy to think, which is what it takes be a MAGA cultist. You got his shirtless poster over your bed?
