High Springs man charged with shooting gun into the air
Staff report
HIGH SPRINGS, Fla. – Adam Joseph Webb, 22, was arrested early Friday and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly shooting a gun into the air.
Webb allegedly chased a woman from Alachua to High Springs after they argued; when he was confronted by the woman’s father, he allegedly got out of his vehicle, fired a shot into the air, and sped away. He was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Webb was arrested at his residence about an hour later.
Webb has one local felony conviction and six local misdemeanor convictions. He was arrested for aggravated battery on a pregnant woman in 2020 and then charged with sexual assault and domestic battery later that year; all of the charges were dropped, but he was convicted of five counts of violating pre-trial release conditions. He was convicted of property damage in a 2020 incident in which he kicked in the door of his ex-girlfriend’s house; a burglary charge was dropped in that case. In 2021, he was arrested for shooting at an apartment building, but those charges were also later dropped.
Judge Kristine Van Vorst set bail at $150,000.

Sooner or later, this guy is going to kill some girl.
Truth.
He needs to be at that GNV gun violence summit thing as a speaker to tell his story so they can help put a stop to the gun violence here in GNV…
If they didn’t keep dropping his gun charges, maybe that would cure him.
5, 10, 20, life will stop the gun violence….
Ambassador maybe????
Another high achiever headed for a life time in jail. What a waste.
Another high achiever headed for a lifetime in jail. What a waste to society.
Put juries charge of the courts, plea deals and parole boards. They can just look at a suspect quickly and vote to keep them locked up forever. No more lawyers paying off their law skool loans. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This is what happens when the voters allow ‘Do Nothing’ prosecutor Kramer to remain in office.
