Hurricane Milton – Supervisor of Elections Office to close at noon on Wednesday, remain closed on Thursday

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – The Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Office will close on Wednesday, October 9, at noon due to Hurricane Milton. The office will also be closed on Thursday, October 10, all day. It is our plan to be open at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, October 11. We will determine the best course of action depending on communication with county-level and state-level partners and conditions on the ground.

While we are closed, voters can continue to access our website at VoteAlachua.gov to find their General Election polling place and sample ballot, request a vote-by-mail ballot, and more. Voters can visit RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov to update their voter registration.

The Voter Registration Deadline for the 2024 General Election was on Monday, October 7. You must have been registered by October 7 to be eligible to vote in the General Election. You can update your voter registration information, including your address and name, at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov
