January 22 Alachua County Commission and City of Gainesville Commission Joint Meeting

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – The Alachua County Commission and the City of Gainesville Commission will conduct a joint meeting on Monday, Jan. 22, 2024. The meeting begins at 3 p.m. The meeting is in the Jack Durrance Auditorium on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st St., Gainesville).
The meeting can be viewed on Cox Channel 12, the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), the county’s Facebook site, or the county’s Video on Demand website.
In-person public comments will be taken for the agenda items, and the public will also have an opportunity to speak about items not on the agenda. Members of the public who wish to speak are asked to limit their comments to three minutes.

Why should the county taxpayers be subsidizing the wasteful and social spending of Gainesville? $37,000,000+? Really? How about spending that on the COUNTY roads, which IS part of your job? BTW, that is more than the city will contribute for its own projects.
What about tearing down the Thelma Boulton Center? Yes or No?
