“Maurer engaged in intensive training on leadership, strategic planning, community development, and financial sustainability.”
Gosh, that sounds tougher than training at Parris Island, or maybe even for Navy Seals. Did he come back with a sweat and blood stained T shirt? Or just some Epson- printer certificates in faux wood frames?
You seem like a very sad little man. Can you show us on the doll where the mean person touched you?
Congratulations Jason! I have found you to be most responsive in your current position. I’m thrilled to read that you are advancing in your profession.
I hope they had enough woke BS training so he can initiate drag shows at some of our parks?
I laughed out loud reading your post. Good for him in going through the training but it’s obvious this is a PR template the NRPA puts out to validate themselves. The public certainly expects staff to be trained for the positions they hold but do we really need to get template press releases for every staff member who does? Geez
Congratulations my friend.

Not taking anything away from him earning a certificate from a highly regarded institution. It is just like the police chiefs and sheriffs going to the mini FBI academy. It looks good to have that training. Hopefully they excel in their positions and make governments run better.
