June 3 Alachua County Commission Special Meeting

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Alachua County Commission will conduct a special meeting on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. They are hosting a policy discussion at 1:30 p.m. in the Grace Knight Conference Room, located on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st St., Gainesville).

The meetings can be viewed on Cox Channel 12, the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), the county’s Facebook and YouTube pages, and the county’s Video on Demand website.

The policy discussion items of interest:

• Coordination with Municipalities on New Development 

• Stormwater Code Evaluation Update 

• Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) Topics – 1. Accessory Structures, including Carports 2. Chicken Allowances in Single-Family Zoning Districts
