LaCrosse Mayor C. Dianne Dubberly backs Marshall Rawson for HD 10

ALACHUA COUNTY, Fla. – Today, conservative candidate Marshall Rawson announced the endorsement of LaCrosse Mayor C. Dianne Dubberly in the race for Florida’s House District 10 seat.

“Marshall Rawson is the ‘Fearless Conservative’ that Florida needs to fight for the fundamental values of protecting Florida’s Land & Agriculture, protecting the border against invasion, fighting against crime and putting criminals in jail, second amendment rights, defending our state’s heritage, and restoring fundamental values in education — teaching love of country and community.”

Mayor C. Dianne Dubberly was elected mayor in 1999, and she has run unopposed ever since.

“Mayor Dubberly understands, more than the vast majority of elected officials do, that with more growth to an area comes more taxes for those residents as they are displaced in their own communities to pay for the infrastructure and social services for those outsiders. Meanwhile, the culture of that area degrades while crime increases. Dianne Dubberly is one of the strongest defenders in office today of our small towns in North Florida, and I look forward to defending North Florida with her in the legislature.”

Since launching his campaign, Rawson has garnered significant support from numerous national, state, and local leaders who know he has what it takes to effectively serve House District 10 in the state legislature.

Rawson is a native Floridian and owns and operates Free State Growers, an agricultural business. Previously, he served as a Washington aide and intern to Republican Congressman Paul Broun, as a legal assistant to Secretary of State Cord Byrd, and as a legal intern for the Florida Department of Agriculture. A dedicated citizen-leader, he has also been an advocate across Florida for various issues, including, but not limited to, immigration reform, state sovereignty, Florida conservation, and taxpayer advocacy. Marshall is the past Chairman of the Greater Melrose Republican Liberty Caucus and currently serves as the North Florida Regional Director of the Republican Liberty Caucus. He also serves as an officer in the Florida Guard and has been deployed to the Texas border to help stop illegal immigration. He is a UF Law Grad and is a member of Grace Life Church in Lake City. Marshall and his wife, Megan, have been married for 8 years and have five children.
