Library District presents news anchor for Black History Month series

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – You are invited to attend a presentation by local news anchor Hawah Ezell, who will discuss her path to journalism and her experiences working at WCJB-TV20.

Ezell joined the news team at WCJB-TV20 as a reporter in January of 2024; nine months later, she became the Morning Edition reporter, and she is now also a fill-in anchor. She graduated from Florida International University in December of 2023 with a Bachelor of Science in digital broadcasting with a concentration in criminal justice. She has a passion for giving a voice to the voiceless.
