Local racer achieves national ranking

Press release from Chris Roe

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Chris Roe, a local NHRA Top Dragster racer sponsored by Right Trailers Nationwide, made it to the semifinals this weekend at the Bristol Dragway’s Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals. His home track is the Gainesville Raceway, where he races at Gatornationals and Baby Gators.

He runs a rare Ford-powered Top Dragster, sporting the Right Trailers logo on a mirror-black rocket of a race car. “I had a great time going rounds at this event and truly love the spectacular views of driving through a mountain here at Bristol Dragway,” said Roe.

During qualifying, Roe went head-to-head with the Right Trailers President, Michael Scott. Both qualified and made it in the field for the Top Dragster class. In the end, Roe kept things moving and kept the green winners’ light on all the way to the semifinal round, where he was edged out. This was a great run for Roe, and he will be back in action this weekend at Galot Motorsports Park in Benson, North Carolina.

Roe is now ranked 4th in divisional and 8th nationally in points.
